Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Nocturnal Hospitalist team. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours, admitting patients from the emergency department, cross-covering and managing existing hospitalized patients, responding to overnight clinical changes and rapid responses, collaborating with nursing staff, specialists, and care teams, and ensuring thorough documentation and effective handoffs.
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree from an accredited program, board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, eligibility for or active Maine medical license, and strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $336,000 to $378,000. The company is dedicated to empowering its staff with a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
